During a previous communion photoshoot we eschewed the traditional (and somewhat boring) communion shoot for something creative and different but that still kept the spirit and religious symbolism of a communion. This one picture in particular sticks out in our mind and we hope you enjoy it.
We took pictures of of our son Nick’s violin class for his elementary school. Here’s one of Nick playing. He has the body of a football player but the soul and temperament of an artist.
Miami is a unique place visually, so we like to use the city to take creative portraits. This one uses a wall in the design district and we love how the reflection looks like old color film as a contrast to a modern digital image.
It’s about knowing your gear well enough so you can focus on capturing the right moments in time. This lasted a couple of eyeblinks.
